The Musical Kottage

In 2005, Lathan Hudson,  came up with a new idea, which made him the Founder and CEO of Musical Kottage, an organization for singers, songwriters, and poets to band together for the purpose of  rehearsing and fostering their creativity. They perform as a group under the name of Musical Kottage Revue.

To quote Lathan, "We charge a modest fee for belonging and members have the benefit of my 30 years in music, Bill Whitacre's legal expertise in entertainment law and Paul Sirmon's expertise in film making. Just look at this and ask yourself, 'If you were on a small musical island (Florida) and Music City was a place you could only afford to visit maybe once per year at the minimum cost of $1500.00 just to go and hear seminars from people with half the credentials of the ones listed below, would you join Musical Kottage for $350.00 per year with the opportunity to recoup your monies and much more from playing gigs that were provided by Musical Kottage?'"

The Artists are made up of duos, trios and single performers and are from far-ranging places such as Melbourne, Orlando, Maitland, Casselbery, Merritt Island, Port St. John and Titusville. Musical Kottage members are performers of soft country, folk music, and gospel, such as Barry Brogan, Sheryl Paige, Leon Olguin, Denise Rutjens, Robin and Eddy, Paul Sirmons, Bill Whitacre, Lisa Firestone, Susie Cool, Janet Reedy, Austin Church, Asli Walker, and Sharon Osuna, to name only a few.

In addition to performing at Titus Street Nites parties, they are frequent performers at Titusville restaurants, campgrounds, and benefits.
